Yes! Curbside pickup is available during open library hours.
Step 1: Search the library catalog for the title you want.
Step 2: Select the Place Hold option next to the item you are interested in and enter your library card number and PIN.
Step 3: Once you receive notification (by email, text, or phone) that your item is available, head to the Library during open hours and pick up your item at the front desk. (You have 7 days to pick up your held item before it is returned to circulation for other patrons to borrow.)
Your materials automatically renew two times if no one else is waiting for your checked out items. If we cannot renew an item, we will notify you when it is overdue.
We do not charge daily late fees, so there is no cost for keeping something a few days late; however, we are a community resource so please return items in a timely manner if possible.
As part of our commitment to equity and access, we try to remove any barriers to library use. Many other major library systems have eliminated late fines, including Chicago, San Francisco, Denver, Sno-Isle, Kitsap, and Spokane.
If you lose or damage an item please visit or contact the Library to let us know. A staff member will work with you to assess replacement fees. Any items 30 days overdue or more will result in a temporary account suspension until they are returned.
If you are experiencing financial hardship or an extenuating circumstance, please reach out so that we can do our best to help.
Yes, we proctor exams free of charge. Contact the Library at least two weeks in advance to make an appointment. Please note that exam proctoring is subject to staff availability.
